noticed yesterday evening that they’ve taken the “belga” signs off the ■■■ factory next to the merksem viaduct don’t know why but i’ve always regarded it as a real landmark and had grown fond of it, well you know what i mean!
I know what you mean, you get so used to seeing certain things like that, that when they go you miss them. It was just at the end of the Merksem viaduct, heading to NL, that I wrote my Scania off 10 years ago.
I didn’t notice the signs had gone when I went past on Sunday night but I’ll certainly notice on Monday now you have mentioned it.
Who remembers the Indian type god sat on the roof of a building just before Antwerpen coming up from Lokeren?
Sometimes he pointed to the left and sometimes to the right and if you really upset him his finger pointed straight up.
He dissapeared about 5 years or so ago and the warehouse is now used by a plant hire company
Yep, I remember him.

I knew there was something missing, the last time I went that way Zzarbean. But for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what it was
. It isn’t a road I use (or used) that often.
Can someone tell me what happened to the building in Greece just before the split for Evzoni. You will remember it because the junction was English like the old E40 Oostende / Calais split.
The building looked like it was bombed
