Lance Biscomb Bulk Haulage

Dennis, at Tilcon we fitted a set of Wellworthy pistons to Gardner 6LXB’s because they were cheaper and then found that the valves jammed in the recesses in the piston crowns! :unamused: On the flip side, we had Gardner sprayers reconditioned by an outside company who will remain nameless and found that several leaked diesel into the sump. Turned out they were actually costing more to recondition than genuine parts from Patricroft and we never had those leak fuel.

Pete.

Taxibear:

Now there is a character from the last century if ever there was one!! He definitely wouldn’t have put up with to-days PC brigade,I knew him personally during the time we were both involved with WRM,and very quickly we both arrived at the same conclusion, they were a bunch of ■■■■■■■ !! Cheers Dennis.

Yes he is certainly a nice bloke ,I visited him at his home and viewed his car collection ,we had a coffee in his house I remember looking at my boots on his cream carpet !!

I need something to lean on at my age, Dan. Didn’t realise you knew my fellow photographer on th’opposite side?
And for any doubters up in t’frozzen North, I can state that I was earning my bread & butter with a 16-speed 88/290 in the days when his poor, underpaid downtrodden drivers were still dreaming of Swedish machinery!
Yes, I’m back from the tropical South rejuvenated and ready for any s**t that he would like to fling at me!

Come on taxibear put on some pics of G606 FRN or E400EHG in action
