Just got home from doing a delivery at St Albans,I set off back at 20 00 heading back up to Wigan then joined the M6.I got up as far as J4 without any mention on any matrix sign about M6 being closed at J5 plus a detour half way around Birmingham to rejoin, which makes me wonder, if after spending all these millions on so called managed motorways are things going to improve any as regards to information for the road user, or is someone somewhere just having a laugh.
Highways don’t give a monkeys about motorists, you’re an inconvenience to them, my advice is to download apps, look online (rac, aa route planning etc) before you set off & plan your journey-happy driving:)
