Hi all,
This is an obvious question i know but wanted to know for sure.
Are there any specific L plate requirements when driving under a provisional C+E license, or are the requirements the same as for a car?
Thanks
Bulsta

Same as for a car
Minor detail but you don’t need one on the rear of the towing vehicle - whether that be a tractor unit or a prime mover.
Doesn’t matter - but one up on ROG!!! Pete
one front one back for every category no matter the rig all licences a to h
Anyone remember these? I had L plates like these when I was learning.
Did mine with those on in 1988

Can’t see the image, I can only see a red x.
Can anyone remember when we had the one shown above with a “normal” L plate at the side. It was known as “double L” and signified that the driver had no car licence.
But if you saw an L plate on a bus/coach, that signified that the learner had no car licence as L plates were never required on PSV training vehicles. I’m struggling to recall the dates of the changes - put it down to old age!!
