Hi,
Does anyone have pictures of Pritchards bros. from the 70’s 80’s, at that time they had one of the smartest fleets in North Wales in their two tone green and red livery. I remember a lot of their drivers from that time on Volvo 86’s and 88’s, some of their favourite haunts being the Lion cafe at Gobowen and the Shamrock cafe nr. Wellington Telford.
Was this the same Jones that ran Hinos,if so IIRC they were the first company in UK to use them.
Chris,
The Jones you are thinking about running Hino tippers was a different firm (DH Jones)from Ruabon? who were agents for them. There was also SE jones in the area (Acrefair) who ran green sed atkis, seems it was a popular surname in that part of the world !

Thanks for that Trev,D.H.Jones,ran in a blue? livery. I remember S.E.Jones as well when I was running into Monsanto at Acrefair.
Some lovely pictures of a well known fleet. Thanks for posting them.
