up untill 2 years ago i drove for somerfield/kwiksave.
there were 3 depots in total in the north west then but now there is 1 large one operated by wincanton at st helens. i would presume the deliveries are done from there.
the other depots on that side of the country are at bridgewater and ross on wye and tewkesbury. all run by wincanton.
all the depots on the east side are operated by exel.
sherburn in elmet, huntingdon, wellingborough and rainham

The depot at Wellingborough is run by Wincanton. There also used to be a one at Tipton, but that has now gone. The one at St.Helens covers the north west, including North Wales, and was the last big one built for Somerfield/Kwik Save, and only fully opened very recently due to the fact they had to wait for the temperature to go down in the freezer so it wouldn’t affect the concrete floor. And the Scottish depots are run by Wincanton also.

I spent 2 years at Sherburn working for Exhell,on the Somerfield/Kwik Save job,and still talk to some of my old work mates on a very regular basis.I left in June last year.

I did a bit out of the Tipton depot, went as far as Dolgellau, but I dont know if they went even further into Wales. There was also a depot at Widnes as far as I remember.
