If that turns up somewhere to get loaded, what fool will put his goods in that ?  :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

The type of fool who thinks that £250 for 26 pallets from Basildon to Berlin is a bit steep!

Stop spreading bs. Many things can be said about Kreiss, but when it comes to making money they will make sure profit is maximised and no-one on earth would run for that amount of money. Stop living in a dream that Benelux needs to be done in q 730 Scania that costs like two of the Volvos that kreiss is running and maybe then you will see that some money can be made in transport.

Furthermore in terms of maintenance not many UK companies stand close to them. Vehicles are generally changed at 500k. Their own workshop is equipped better than many UK dealerships, not to mention the capability of their mechanics.

I’m not advocating for them, but there is bs and there is reality. Their management is efficient. The salaries they pay are in line with what the market pays (its not enough, but neither it is a skilled job to pay more).

You can have the best workshop in the world and staff to match but if the trucks don’t come home very often they will still be rough

Nice job cracking on.

On a side note, arent kreiss in the process of being “banned” from norway.

They were banned from doing cabotage movements for about a week.

Vlantana Norge on the other hand got into enough hot water for falsifying wageslips and work time sheets, lost their biggest customers and eventually shut down this month. Not before the police started their own ongoing investigation into the matters.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if companies make a profit doing export for a ferry ticket. The import load needs to have a price where this is factored in, that’s all. Try running a curtainsider load to northern Scandinavia, you’ll probably run 1000+km empty for a backload, but the price outward is worth it.

Also contracts. If 90% of a customers work is fruit from Southern Europe to Scandinavia or Russia, they can eat up that 10% going into the UK.

Аll Kreiss drivers have good training before they start work for company. And this training not just “taked time” .Every truck have dashcam and as well cab video and audio re ording faced for drivers.(automatically swithced off when tacho at break).
