Knock-on effects on Fuel

Now that Sarkozy is toast in France, we’re seeing a rather interesting move down in the price of not only Euros, but Petroluem products as well! :open_mouth:

Crude Oil and Petrol (on international markets) have both fallen more than 10% in the past fortnight. The effect on pump prices should be filtering through by now… :stuck_out_tongue:

The average private trucker would not be expecting some relief from their overheads from across the sea I guess.

Anyone noticing yet?

I remember few Years ago talking to a Owner Driver about Fuel Price.
He fueled up in Belgium and ignored the cheaper Fuel in Luxembourg.
Reason=He gets the Tax quicker back in Belgium, and he needs the Money earlier as it helps more then a few Pennies more to a later Date.

The company I used to drive for didn’t want us refuelling in Luxembourg something about a higher VAT rate in Belgium and not wasting time queuing for the bloody stuff
