Reading an old newspaper about my dad being presented with the official Order of The Knights of The Road
on behalf of The News of The World, got me wondering if there are any other official Knights or their families on
the forum. I well remember him wearing the badge with pride.
Apologies if this topic is in the wrong place Im a newbie who likes remembering the old days.
Just been looking through my Dads things and found he had a News of the World Knights of the Road badge (Blue). I could recall somebody had put something about them on the site. Nice possesion to keep a hold of all the same. Franky.

That’s the one, only my Fathers is Blue, any significance in the different colours? I’m sure there was more put on here about the badges and how drivers got them. Franky.

Dont know about the colours I just thought they were all the same
having seen only the one, which does have a blue background beneath the lettering,
which doesn`t show up on the photo.
