From my experience as subbing out of there for our firm its chaos and they would struggle to arrange a ■■■■ up dispite a warehouse full of booze

I spoke to one of their drivers and I think I remember him saying that he took home was £450-£500 a week for about 50 hours. He was on some sort of rotating shift pattern. They have a union there who seem to hold some weight.

red7jase is right though, the place is a shambles more often than not when I go.

Strange that, when I enquired when they opened the depot they told me 23k salary for 48 hours and wouldn’t tell me if or what overtime rate or shift pattern was :arrow_right:
I declined to waste the time applying.

Any one know basic promised salary

it goes from 25k to about 28k depending on shift pattern - all will include some weekend working and overtime is available.

you will hit 30k fairly easy.

To be fair, his wage could be heavily topped up with premiums + a bit of the usual driver exaggeration.

2 examples of of professionalism from the staff their this morning.

Gateman almost let me in without taking my ref and telling me where to put my empty trailer. He thought I was one of there own drivers :exclamation: it was only when I enquired as to where to put my empty he realised.

Desk man in traffic office said to me the name of the the recipient and asked ME if it needs an ARC number (customs/tax).

Unbelievable really.

We drop loaded trailers in there, with 10x1000’s worth of booze on them. They sign the delivery POD & let us go without even looking at it.

Keep thinking one day i’ll drop the loaded one in our yard & just take them an empty one. That’d be one hell of a ■■■■ up
