Shaz and I are both avid readers and were thinking of buying each other a Kindle for Christmas but don’t know much about them. Any one here use one if so what do you think of them. How long can you use them in between charges.
I have one they are very good. It’s the original one I have and the battery lasts all week when I’m away with a couple of hours a day reading.
I prefer an actual book.

Same here.Kindles are quite readable,and very convenient,but books don’t lose their charge.You can leave a book on your sunbed when you nip to get a drink,and it will still be there when you get back.If you lose a Kindle,you’ve potentially lost a whole personal library.But what the hell,if you like it,get it.You only live once.OMG I think I’m a Luddite
