More than likely one of those panel types, they come down with a hell of a whack especially if they have just been serviced - ouch, no more thumbs up - I bet it only bruised his nail a bit.

Could be the door in a fridge trailer that comes down from roof to separate frozen goods up the front and fresh at rear, if it was this type of door it was broken as these doors can be a [zb] to move sometimes

Probably £16 to £20 grand. And he MUST be insured by law - even if there are signs saying “KEEP OUT - NO DRIVERS ALLOWED”. It will be reduced if he wasnt wearing the correct PPE though (Safety Boots).
