Fowler Welch lost a truck and trailer ■■
Maybe this is one for MarkR to ask back at Teynham.OnTime have a recovery yard at Queenborough full of damaged vehicles and recoveries.
I note a pristine and hitched FowlerWelch Volvo truck and fridge has been stuck in there for at least a couple of months,maybe three now! Perhaps an insurance wrangle,or have FowlerWelch so many trucks they have forgotten about it.
Registration number is NK13TFO Just curious

One of North Kent Road Freights ERF, the address on the cab says Rainham Essex so where was the kent depot. The photo of the DAF of Ridam Freight Services may fill a little gap in the Sittingbourne area if i remember Len Valsler was kind enough let me copy this shot. I worked for Ridham Freight 80/81 it was part of the Bowaters Group a guy called Tony Love took it over and called it Routier Freight

I remember getting my breakfast almost chucked across the table at me by the waitress in there once. She’d very kindly broke the egg yoke with her thumb for me too. 
Couldn’t complain though as she was a bit special.
Ive got quite a few photos of RJ Matthews motors. Will have to dig them out. Ive got one of B222 XKN (Volvo) also got loads of photos of Bill Thompsons, Barrios, and just about every other Kent haulier. Must be well into the thousands now!!.

Not sure about this Ringrose. Are you sure its a Volvo?..we don’t have any 13 plate Volvos, and NK13TFO is a Scania. I,ll find out a bit more for you tomorrow.

That was the lorry that was involved in a fatal road accident in which a motor cyclist was killed outside the yard.
Oh,dreadful news for all those concerned Mark.Do not wish to have caused any upset from my last posting and yes correct on the tractor unit.
