Keltbray plonker

Was travelling this morning at 6.30 am, going from Rainham towards the city on A13, pulling an artic 43 tones fully loaded, travelling in the middle lane as there is a two lanes flyover right behind that junction, and while trying to clear that traffic lights with a red light camera installed (Renwick rd), a Keltbray rigid tipper travelling on my left ,decided to speed up, pass the junction and then squeeze into my lane right in front of me, forcing me to brake hard as well, right in the middle of the junction just as I was trying to clear that junction as the lights were changing to red.
Do these rigid tippers have any functioning brain in that roundish piece of carp between their ears?
I had my windows up but still could smell my brakes.

I don’t think it was the tippers fault, maybe it was the driver
Seriously we all ball’s up now and then and we all get angry when some one ■■■■■ up in front of us, I say glass houses and move on.

I had my windows up as well, but could still smell the BS from your post pal.

Why would you have fish between your ears■■?

These posts are a bit boring now. Stuff happens on the road every day. Most don’t bother coming on here to tell everyone else. Just forget about it and move on in life. Use it as a reminder to yourself of what not to do when you’re in a similar situation.

Yes totally agree with this post ^^ including the fish for brain description.

Just be grateful you weren’t riding a push bike.

Never a truer word spoken. I totally agree with this post, move on in life.

Everyday something happens when we’re out on the road, if everyone posted on here when something happens they don’t like the forum would be full of the same type of posts…like it’s getting now. Boring.

Just forget it.
(Although that company is well know for it’s driving skills lol)

there was a small citroen c1 right in front of me , between me and the hard braking Keltbray “professional driver”.
What do you think would be the outcome if I wasn’t able to stop in time my 43 tone artic and went through that citroen and stopped only wen hit the back of Keltbray tipper?
I guess police when called would say “BS story, get over it mate”, same would journos say, when called by a random witness , “BS story, not even worth reporting, get over it mate”
Yes, I think you are right, it was a BS story, I shouldn’t even bother writing about this on here.
Make sure you give the same advice to those OP’s that have reported fatal incidents involving lorry drivers on the forum, all “BS stories, not worth writing about”

So he didn’t cut you up. He cut up the Citroen C1 and you were obviously driving too close to it if you felt you wouldn’t have had enough time to stop.

Pay peanuts get monkeys. S walsh have to have the most brain dead drivers in the area though.

Still these are things that happen a lot, and you really have to learn to let it go or it will eat you up and end up making you an aggressive and dangerous driver.
Posting on here could be seen as a bit of a realise of the tension of a day, but it doesn’t really work because of the type of replies you’ll get.
Another thing might be handy if the “worst did happen” would be a dash cam.

Now deep breaths, count to 10 and chill.

You mentioned “black” and “outraged”; Do you read the Daily Mail?

Do a Google search for Keltbray Lorries- There’s a trend in the results.

I couldn’t resist, so googled, your only right :open_mouth:

My trailer nearly blew over when an airliner flew over me on the perimeter road at Gatwick.
The plane driver should get points on his licence.
He was so low, i could see the whites of his eyes.
Damm throttle jockeys.

Getting ‘cut up’ is an occupational Hazard now days …unfortunately…its just one of the many things we have to deal with on a daily basis…No one was injured so you just have to let it go and move on…

There local to me pay peanuts you get knobheads who can’t get a job with any decent firm.
Some of the lorrys painted up keltbray are owned by a local haulier. Get to the tip and you can see what lorrys are his and what ones are keltbrays by the way they are driven on the tip.
Example of the mentality of the average keltbray driver. I was on a wheel spinner in a tip he pulled up right behind me when I was on the rollers then screamed and shouted when he ended up with a massive stonechip in his windscreen.

Do you drive a wrecker? The reason I ask is that you were apparently…

pulling an artic 43 tones fully loaded,

No he doesn’t drive a wrecker, he’s just practicing for the worlds strongest man competition.
And I thought fully loaded would be 44t
