I have a bike in my cab but that isn’t doing much at the moment with the weather. It’s worth taking out a multi gym membership I found. I use puregym, for 22 quid a month I can use 62 gyms and loads of those are in areas with decent parking nearby, ie an industrial area. Also a big benefit of using a gym is that you get much better shower facilities than you will find in services and truck stops. If your on Facebook search for truckers who run. Loads of tips and motivation on there. If your gonna be out all week don’t fall into the habit of sitting in the cab all night, you’ll crack up. Get out and use that spare time. Good luck with it mate
At the end of the day Stinger said he’s going to be living in car transporter cab. On that type of work his exercise regime is already sorted!
Truckers who run on Facebook.

You don’t need to do exercise to avoid getting fat. Monitoring your calorie intake is all that’s required
To loss weight eat in a calorie deficit, increase weight eat in a surplus and to maintain weight eat somewhere in the middle
Exercise just supplements itFire your particulars in on here and it’ll give you a decent idea of what your calorie intake should be: nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we … alculator/
Avoiding parking in the services means you won’t be tempted into buying Burger King and similar rubbish
Also means you’re free to go for a run or a walk without other drivers posting about you doing 15 laps of the lorry park on Facebook while they themselves can’t even see their feet
NHS dietary advice has been proven to be bad advice the calorie controlled diet is BS, because you yoyo because these diets are fads and not practical in the long term , and if you are eating lots of ultra processed foods and starchy carbs (potatoes) and sugar you cannot burn it fast enough, eating real foods high in natural fats makes your body burn fat, not try to burn the sugar in those crappy foods that gets stored as fat
Actually every word of what harrawaffa said was true, and he hinted at eating healthier foods alongside controlling calories when he said to avoid fast food. Eating healthier is usually part of a calorie controlled diet anyway as you realise how hard it is to eat junk and still hit your calorie goal. You seem to be seeing it as “either or” (calorie control OR eat healthy food) when it isn’t at all, you can do both and with great success.
It’s perfectly possible to eat ‘healthy foods’ and get fat if you’re not controlling your intake. Nuts are naturally high in good fat like you say and are seen as healthy but eat too many of them (easily done) and see what happens…
