there all reasons why i move into the middle lane if i can when i see anything stopped on the hard shoulder
Then you’re a good lad. You might not appreciate just how much of a difference this simple action makes to those on the hard shoulder.
As I said above, you don’t have to hit someone to kill them, the draught off an artic on it’s limiter can lift an adult off his feet and throw them into the road.

scary photos, as posted above THIS is why I pull over when passing anything on the hard shoulder.
Yes I always move over to lane 2 if i can, failing that I’m on the broken white lines to give an extra foot at least.
But also just because a truck is swaying a bit, it doesn’t mean he’s not looking at the road ahead.
