The police have closed the road in both directions, from the Cabot Park roundabout. You can still get into Chittening Industrial Estates though if you let the officer know. It happened on the corner outside Malcolm Group / Fire Rescue Training Centre. It was a double decker carrying cider. The driver was airlifted to hospital but it’s thought a cyclist may be trapped somewhere under the load.

Can’t find anything about a cyclists
The info about the cyclist was from the copper blocking the road. He said there were two cyclists in the road when it tipped over but only one accounted for so far. So it was just speculation at that point.
The info about cider was people watching the wagon being pulled back up. They had been there a while but might not have gotten the info right. It was a keedwells unit pulling a yellow curtain sider, double decker. It looked like a city link or a Jays trailer to me, but I couldn’t see the logo properly or the shed load.
