KAP blessing or curse

Will Kent residents welcome the KAP as a method of regulating HGV traffic or as a strain on their infrastructure?
Tonbridge and Malling voted leave by 41,229 votes to 32,792. Medway voted leave by 88,997 votes to 49,889. Tunbridge Wells was the only area to vote remain, with 35,676 votes compared to 28,320 to leave. Turnout was high across Kent at an average of 76% compared to a national average of 67%.

The Brexit vote in Kent was roughly 60/40 Leave. In the 2019 election Kent returned 17 Tory MP’s (some with more than a 20,000 majority). Essentially, they swallowed all the BS Nigel and Boris fed them, or to quote the Brexit mantra ‘We knew what we were voting for, get Brexit done’.
Given that even the thickest resident of Kent must have an idea of how close they are to France and how busy the Channel ports are, did they really think things would go through seamlessly? They were among the loudest shouting to get out of Europe. I’d say they deserve every bit of upheaval and inconvenience they get.
