Kalms tablets

You can annoy more people by not smoking than smoking by all accounts. Hmmmm, their’s a reason to give up .

I’d love to give up. I just lack the willpower. Driving is the worst time. Sticking to speed limits, or ‘on the limiter’, the brain has little to do and the hands even less.

Kalms is accepted within the Driver Training industry (by many), as a way of calming a nervous pupil on test, so should not detract from one’s ability to handle a vehicle safely.

kalms didn’t make me sleepy or drowsy but they may affect people in different ways.
As for giving up smoking I gave up very slowly. Started by not smoking while working only during breaks. then only at dinner breaks. Then not at work at all only on the way there and back. Then didn’t take cigs to work at all. Next step cut at the one at brekkie. So first one of the day was when I got home in the evening. Next was the one after evening meal that was the hardest, made sure i got up and started doing some thing as soon as I’d finished eating. All this had it down to about three a day so I packed them in. That was about twenty years since never smoked since and never regretted it. I had tried all ways to give up this was the only succesful way for me.
Any way Simon I hope you kick the habit It is worth it. I’ve got a large motor bike I couldn’t have afforded if i was still smoking.

Don’t smoke when you are working … Ok don’t work!
No ■■■ after meals … I wouldn’t eat(Ok I should try that! )

Your a brave man Simon RS2K good luck and well done so far! :open_mouth:

I gave up last June after 25 years, ending up at 40 a day.

Simon, if you stopped last sunday, then you should already be getting to the end of the worst bit. The second week is much easier than the first, and I personally found that after a fortnight I knew I was over it.

There are lots of websites giving help for those wanting to quit- a search of Google should bear fruit- I found it helpful to know what symptoms I would suffer, and how long they would last.

Stick at it mate, you won’t regret it. Millions of people have quit, and none of them are better than you…

I had a really bad case of flu the first week of the new year, didnt get out of bed for 2 days, didnt leave the house for 5 days, in that time i smoked around 10 ■■■■(ciggarettes to you Yankees  ) and thought i wonder if i can give up, as i wasnt really missing my usual 20-30 a day. My mum ( who i started stealing ■■■■ off, sorry, cigarrettes!) when i was 12 cos it was coooool  to do, had given up around 15 years ago, went and got me some patches, and i am proud to say, i havent smoked since, and after 25 years am now smoke free, and for some strange reason am finding it very easy, and i arent really missing it at all, ive really surprised myself too
By the way, my 1st box of patces cost £16 for 7 patces, during my trip to Germany, my sister went to my doctors for me and explained my job and the time away, hence me not being there in person, and she came home with 6 boxes, identical to my £16 one for the price of…£6.50

I,ve gave up loads of times its easy, i,m planning another one soon.

Jammy that made me laugh…so much…i nearly passed me ■■■■ around…

i would seriously love to give them up…but i ran out of ciggies this week.and had to wait for the wife to come home…she controls the money…so i was like a bear with a sore head after not getting my nicotine fix for a while…we ended up having a blazing row…with her storming up to the off licence to buy me some…is this a normal reaction to giving up completely…they do keep me quiet…but my marriage could be in trouble if i carry on like this…

Women !! cant please them can ya ■■ moans if i smoke …moans if i dont…
ha ha ha bless her…
