No idea how, but it happens a lot more than most people realise.

Typed and posted this snippet of info on TNUK while driving down the A11■■

Had it twice…

Once on the A34 as you come into the fire station roundabout at Newbury, an old fella going north on the south.

In Spain on my way across from Murcia to Pulpi, another one coming straight at me. The thing about that one was, everyone coming the other way was flashing their lights and blowing their horns trying to warn the opposite carriageway what was happening that, I paid so little attention to the road in front of me as to ■■■■ near head on the twunt when he whizzed past me.

On that basis does one try warn your fellow motorist or hope that he spots the oncoming vehicle?

Spooky, I was just on the A11 and there were hundreds of cars all going the wrong way

Saw this on the A14 one night, I was going west near Kettering, a car came past me at a fair lick, but he was on the other side of the central reservation, about 10 mins later plod came past about 90mph obviously trying to catch him up

that guy was doing good 70 mph, a rigid lorry flashed him and the car turned the hazards on and then ended up on hard shoulder, a bit rough though.

out of curiosity, in case the driver is not under the influence or anything, is it dangerous driving? of what gonna happen?

Dual carriageways are a bit scarce in Norfolk and Suffolk, locals get confused when they come across one.
