Just passed my cpc module 4 for class 2

Hi everyone I have just passed my cpc module 4. Now in for job hunting . I am thinking of going into skip jobs in and around ipswich. Would like to know if the job pays good weekly? Or any advice on palletised jobs and supermarket delivery. And also how do I go about being a tanker driver? Thanks your help will go along way.

Congratulations.

I am a tanker driver and love it. I only carry sewage and grey water so no special qualifications are needed, although if you wish to carry anything dangerous such as fuel etc then an ADR certificate must be obtained.

I have only done a brief stint on skips. The company paid £370 per week (Birmingham) but I found the job very rushed and quite dangerous, but you may have more luck than I did. There is plenty of work out there. Agency work is not for me but it may suit you if only to get some experience under your belt.
Always remember your CPC training and abide by your driving hours and the working time directive, make sure your vehicle checks are spot on and not only will you do well, you will also contribute to VOSA disappearing as they cant fine you.

Good luck, let us know how you get on. Stay safe. Tom.

Thanks tom, I will also be looking at tanker jobs too. For now I think I need a bit of experience . I tried some agency and they need experience drivers. I will also knock on doors and probably look at neighbouring town close to ipswich. I will keep reading my cpc material and try to know the driving hours. Thanks for the advice appreciate it.

Try Addeco UK & Ireland who are based in Colchester if that’s not too far for you, they are good with training and are good payers.
