Hi all, been lurking around the forum now for a few weeks since I failed my first attempt at class c three weeks ago. Was absolutely gutted at what I failed on (not checking a cyclist in my left mirror after I’d passed him) but jumped straight back in for the retest the week after (16th aug) and passed with three minors!
Signed up for as many agencies as I could and kept getting the same answer, they needed my licence back from the dvla and even then would require 2 years experience. Was beginning to get a bit disheartened but my licence dropped through the door this morning and I was phoned today with an offer for tomoz! I know I’ve not waited as long as some for my first gig but that two weeks of no’s seemed like forever!!
Anyway booked my class 1 today and I’ve got my assessment for that next week!
