Just out of curiosity....

Have you ever ended up choosing where you park depending on whether you can be arsed to write a huge double/treble barrel place name on your tacho?

I have nearly found myself doing this, but normally screw up by not noticing until I come to write it on. I found myself trying to fit Duoé-la-Fontaine into the start finish fields, but someone must have gone better than that??

I have often tried to avoid overnighting in Monchengladbach.

Try the little Autohof at Wickrath (I think it is) instead then Coffee :smiling_imp: . Much easier to fit Wickrath onto a tacho chart, rather than Monchengladbach.

If I did stop in Monchengladbach I just used to put Neuss on the disc instead.

just write road/motorway number plus the relevant kilometre marker number.

Much easier than all this name writing, get a vehicle with a digital tacho. Anywhere in Britain (inc Channel Isles and Gibralter) =UK
Anywhere in France = F
etc etc
if you’re really stuck there is UNK; Unknown

When I am in France I regularly park at a place called “Hairy Armpits” and another called “Surrender-Monkey” - at least according to my tacho cards.
