Just like prison

This is a picture of where you hand your notes in and collect them when visiting this particular rdc, it resembles a prison where you can talk to a dangerous criminal as there is a small hole to talk through and a letter box to pass small items through.
Do they think us drivers might attack the staff or is it to stop us being attacked ? By the way this is no ordinary rdc.

Keeping the scum of the earth lorry driver where he belongs presumably.

companies like that make me sick, a pox on them i say

No experience on prisons, so I wouldn’t know :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

think u will find prisons are better than most rdc places as well…prisons cant have prisoners talking to loved ones/family through glass any more unless cat A prisoner…most places are open plan with proper tables and chairs…
Well norwich and hollesley bay are like that i cant really comment n any others… btw only know this as a friend was in prison not long ago for doing something silly and I visited him to keep his spirits up…

As for prisons, I’ve been to Walton, Strangeways, Haverigg, Risley and Chelmsford with various jobs, but the place in the pic reminds me of the East German side of the old border between West and East Germany at Hirschberg, cos it’s got that cold detached commie look about it.

Looks remarkably like a Cash in Transit centre to me

Most prison visiting areas are open plan, unless a prisoner is on “closed visits”, in which case there is no physical access between prisoner and visitors.

i delivered into wandsworth prison back in the early 80s whilst tipping there was an inmate mouthing out the cell window calling me all sorts of names, so i climbed on top of the cab with a girlie mag showed him the centre spread and said im going home to this tonight. who will be getting up you.he did not have any more to say after that, and the lads tipping me were grateful for the cigs i just happened to drop getting back in the motor.

What’s the chequer plate for at shoulder height? It’s not decorative, Is it to stop frustrated drivers trying to punch holes in the plasterboard, in the vain hope of getting away from the numpty retelling the time he got chalked up, coned off at Tescos.

It’s probably to bang your head on when you are getting nowhere with a jobsworth.

Looks suspiciously like Asda Portbury to me.

This a Gist?

Says it all really, I have done most Gist sites, and they go out their way to be unhelpful down there. Much prefer Hemel/Maylands

Yep, Thatcham.

Looks like any reception area of any place, including schools, in Johannesburg i.e Dodge City to me :grimacing:
