That sort of job may sound glamourus but it’s far from all fun. I have worked in the trade in the past. You won’t see home for months. If you are wed it won’t be for long (lost second wife that way). Racing team bosses can be very unstable, the first bad result fire whoever is replacable (usualy the truckie). You are expected to be pit staff also working round the clock changing tyres etc.
I would only recomend this work for young single guys with no thought of the future.
I will add that any reputable team hires its own drivers, those with bad reputations use agencies because the known drivers avoid them.

Around the Woodstock Road - all very close to me. I often have drops at the hospital, the icebowl, the parliament buildings and the big hotels round Holywood way, so I might see you about! Moving jobs too?
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that’s amore…" you look fit enough to me Dapper now come to me and I will teach you the language ■■■
Hee, I’m a big pizza pie. Best complement I’ve ever had.
Blimey! That sounds like a good job. Can you post the original advert please? I speak 4 foreign languages fluently and can insult fork-lift drivers in several more.

And the mechanics/engineers can be a bunch of prima donnas, and Racing Drivers can be a bunch of spoiled kids. But there is great camaraderie between the Truckies especially in the bar.

I always thought the racing and being in the pit lane was the best bit of the job, after all it’s what you’ve worked towards, it does get the adrenalin going.

Don’t think this is for the race team, but one of the sponsors hospitality units
