I have noticed a lot of anti Stobart threads on the forum. Just curious to know what’s so bad about them? i’d be interested to hear from anyone who has or does drive for them. No other reason than just interested and bored! lol

The pay is pretty poor from what I can gather. Staff vary from depot to depot but the kit seems pretty nice. Long hours though mixed in with the poor pay doesn’t paint them in good light. Same as working for any big company though. Just another number.
I think nowadays there seems to be more of a stigma driving for them than being a prostiute. Speaking to a mate that used to work there I gather the only difference is one gets shafted and the other does the shafting!

Bad pay for the work you do, long hours = very unhappy drivers
