Just checked my licence online, and my licence has been upgraded with my c pass on.
Can I now go ahead and book my c+e lessons?, guessing my driving licence should be with me shortly?
Im pretty sure as soon as you pass class C you can book C+E and start lessons but I think you need to wait 1 calender month before you can sit the test.
You don’t have to wait a month, but in practice it may take that long to get a booking.
Book C+E now - the school will be happy enough to do that
Doubt you will actually start before licence returns anyway due to school waiting times

Just to clarify: yes, you can book your lessons - I suggest putting a gap of 4 weeks between courses to make sure the licence is back. You cannot start lessons till the licence has been issued. We accept an online check for that. But it’s important to note that you must not drive CE until the licence has been issued. The fact you pass the C test which will give you the entitlement on the licence doesn’t count.
But, while we’re at it, you can drive the appropriate category on the pass certificate immediately (subject to cpc etc).

When I booked my C+E training I was told there was another trainee with me, but when I meet the instructor, he said about the other trainee not have his licence back from DVLA and couldn’t drive as technically he has no provisional C+E until he gets his licence back.
So it was just me. 
Would I be correct in saying tho, that if it’s been online that it’s been dealt with and should expect my licence within a day or 2?
Mine came 2 working days after it was shown online.
I asked the dvla about driving c+e before I recieved the licence back and the reply was I could drive or book a test as soon as it was online, but I couldnt sit the test as the examiner would require the licence to be produced at the start of the test.
