Having just watched another enthralling edge of your seat episode of est&t , I was unawares that they had so many driver depots strategically placed around the country , now wouldn’t it be nice if in these rest depots they offered a decent lounge & rest area away from the cab to stretch your legs & watch a bit of tv or have a game of pool, and a decent canteen serving good food & maybe a discounted rate, if they lead by example maybe others would follow

Better still if the company built or even took over some MSA,s across the land, damned sure they could make a decent fist of it.
I thought it was sad enough that all these Eddie spotters go out of their way to take a picture of a truck but , after looking at the spotters club website out of pure curiosity, they pay to be part of it… lol

I like nothing more than parking up on my own in the middle of nowhere, have eveything i need in the lorry so dont need a lounge with a pool table.
Well Fiona should be shafted, dropping a fully loaded trailer, that needs to be unloaded without emptying the air bags, bet stobbies go through a few replacement legs each year with trailers walking as the air depletes.

same here i’d much prefer to be somewhere quiet and deserted i sleep better .

im not sure if i was a stobart boss that i’d want to offer my staff parking areas cheaply for other firms drivers to park in , for a kickoff it would cost a fortune in clean up money to get rid of the ■■■■ bottles and dodgy black bin liners not to mention run of the mill drivers seam to want to kick toilets off the wall for no apparent reason . it would just end in tears .
I delivered 26 plts into that place next to Wembley and got in first time 
/Fair play to the lad , ( And with the cameras ) made his mind up, and sussed it out
Just a note for Fiona, if your touching very cold metal, get some gloves on
On the other side of the spectrum the BEST drivers canteen I have saw is MacRitchie Highland Distribution, up in Inverness , big clean canteen leather sofas full kitchen and even some fish to relax you lol
It even made it in to one off the trucking mags a while back
