Jump Before You're Pushed, Less Painful?

Just getting sick of here now. :imp:

Slightest thing and you’re up in the office.

Is it worth jumping ship before you’re ‘nailed’ and given the push?

Surely there are set procedures in place at your firm, written warnings and all that?

On a verbal ATM for a wee incident ages ago, but lately things are just getting frustrating…

Get out before you end up hitting someone!

Sounds to me a bit like they’re trying to do a constructive on you?

That’s what I was thinking… Exactly the same happened to another driver last year… Pick, pick, pick until they have enough to…

They’re always ‘reviewing / changing’ working procedures etc to cover their own arses, making the hurdles higher to jump over and the hoops tighter to jump though. yet they want more out of you per day!

That would’nt be a big organisation starting with S & finishing with O, with ERC in the middle, would it ?

When I was there as a Working Forman, we spent more time as witnesses to disciplinary’s than any thing else- not wearing Gloves, not wearing T Shirts on the rounds, upsetting residents, damage to property, damage to vehicles, not ringing in when sick, having too much time off sick- the list goes on & on & on & on ----------------##%+# Grrrrrrrrr !

I jumped ship before I lost my Sanity ! Find something else first, then have Great Pleasure in handing in your notice.
It will change your life !

Not quite

If you no longer want to be there then is time to move on.

Easier said than done in these times, I know, but make sure if you do jump you land somewhere decent. My old nan always used to say “act in haste, repent at leisure” and I’ve certainly done that a couple if times on the job front.

The other way of looking at it is to just chill out. Go through all the BS they require with a smile on your face and just do what they want. They are paying for your time at the end of the day and if they want to waste it on crap then let them.

If they are trying to push you out it will wind them up that your not biting and if they are really stupid they might up the anti and do something to hang themselves.

Cheers
Neilf

Had a certain scare at work a few weeks back, guess that was the start of it…
