long serving joint driver warwick gittins,coupling up j400 jmh to her first loaded trailer in the abbey trailer park ,about to head home to shrewsbury.
the joint motors got this dirty moving around the yard in the winter
me and joint’s brilliant foreman fitter adjhumal kahn changed the cab on b948 after tommy roberts had a bad one on the 465 near ebbw vale.seen here early morning,karl kearn loaded with coil for thyssen krupp duisburg.

Yes mate,that was a new demo. 1850,it sounded totally different to the 1748 that I normally drove and yes it was a better puller,though I seem to remember being carpeted for excessive fuel,5.5mpg over the brecon beacons

My old man drove a 1735 G268MHH for David Hatswell in Deeside and that went well, the 1748 & 1850 must of been something else.
