When getting on to it,do you indicate left or right,■■
not sure if this is a trick question
but right indicator
Depends, if you mean whilst you’re on a slip lane you’d indicate right, if there’s no slip lane why would you indicate right ?
No trick,if indicate right you are intending to cross over two lanes,im not sure myself, what is the legal definition?

As a pro driver, maybe you could try reading the Highway Code matey?? And the LGV driving text books the DVLA publish…
Why would you need to indicate/need an indication at all on most slip roads? If I see a vehicle coming down a slip road I just assume they are going to slip right and join the main carriageway rather than go left into a hedge/fence/field/wall/lamp post/truck spotter.

It’s taught on the LGV test to indicate from a slip road.
And to answer Toby, it depends if you are driving on UK roads or over the water

I know, but there’s not much that’s taught to pass the test that happens or is needed in the real world.

If there’s a line of traffic on a dual carriageway and it’s your intention to pull in-between two vehicles why would you not want the driver you’re pulling in front of to know your intentions.
Making other people aware of your intentions without sticking your arm out of the window is what indicators were invented for.

Because it provides a service in keeping them alert when they have to guess. Plus it’s more fun.
I would signal in that situation.
well i always indicate , my take on it is if summitt goes seriously wrong and the bill turn up , they will for sure ask a)me ,“and were u indicating u"r intention then ,driver?” and b)any supposed witnesses "did u notice if the truck was indicating? ■■■■■■■■■ mark if you weren"t!

I thought you were a rebel?
Right if I’m joining the main carriageway left if I’m stopping on the slip for a wee break.
Strange.

If you’re a real rebel you’d indicate left when you’re joining it and right when you’re leaving it and the opposite to that in countries where they drive on the wrong side of the road.

- You’re not taught that when learning to pass a test.
B. It’s not.

are you on drugs ■■?
The IAM say indicate only if its needed as there is a gray area about indicating right at what is effectivly a give way line and you are actally turning left.
In practice if its clear i don’t indicate if there are other vehicles there indicating right seems to remind them that you are planning to join the carrageway and not continue into a hedge
I would never indicate left as this would just be confusing
