John's End to Land O' Groats: How long?

A few years ago I was having an extended hoiday, and I was asked would i do a job for a trade plating company.
The job was to put 5,000 Ks on a brand new MAN unit, to test something or other for MANs at Swindon.
I drove down to Lands End first and then I drove to John 'o’Groats via the coast roads where I could. I did this at my leisure and it took me 4 days. I averaged about 500 Ks aday.

doesn’t look wild and desolate to me on here or when i was up there a couple of weeks ago

I was there in 1984 and only the hotel was there… it’s still modest compared to Land’s End tho…

there are a lot nicer places elsewhere on the Cornish Coast

Yea I know, I do a run there at least twice a month, multi dropping anywhere there’s a Travis Perkins or Jewson, anywhere from Saltash to Helston, Falmouth, Penzance sort of thing.

Is Dunett Head further north than “Land O Groats” ?

Yes, Dunnet Head is further north than Land O’ Groats, and Lizard Point is further south than John’s End. ,
