Joe "not very" Sharp

Obviously doesn’t use his mirrors, or just doesn’t care. Poor standard of lane discipline by a so called professional

Chris had only just purchased his dashcam two days before capturing the series of dangerous road blunders.

Chris said: “I suppose it shows just how many idiots are on the road to capture something like this straight away, so unfortunately I am not surprised at all.

“People have suggested I take the footage to the police but I don’t even think what the drivers did was a particularly serious crime in terms of the law that should take up police time.

Great another newly armed dash am warrior…

Last paragraph sums him up, not worth taking to the police, but quite happy to hand over to a sun journo, wonder why that would be… :unamused:

Chris sounds like a moron. Why does such a non story make it onto the Sun?!

Don’t really think it’s a case of refusing to move over I think it’s more a case he just doesn’t use his mirrors at all. He’s absolutely clueless what’s going on behind him. The merc driver has a date with karma if he carrys on like that. No trying to sound rascist here more “knobend profiling” but I bet a pound that was a young Asian gentlemen.

The ambulance would of stud a better chance of being seen if it had straddled both lanes rather than driving up behind the lorry .

I’ve seen all sorts of vehicles block emergency services in similar ways. Vehicle in question could have moved over anyway unless he was expecting tipper on near side to move from 3 lanes at slip road to 2 lane bit.

Merc was a nob :unamused:

It’s funny how in countries where undertaking is legal it’s not total carnage. Its not that dangerous really

to be fair he/she was right up the arse of the truck and more then likely not seen him, and if it had the double glazing not heard him either

Its not as bad as its made out, 200yards back it was just a 2 lane carriageway, as you get onto the flyover a lane joins from the nearside to make it 3 wide but goes back to 2 half a mile up the road, i would put money on it the sharps truck had been overtaking the tipper and not realised the tipper had moved across to the nearside lane which had just joined the main carriageway

switchlogic:

You need to ask that question?

Sun stories have 3 main aims,
1 To titillate their readers, (■■■ Romp stories)
2 To scare their readers, (We’re all doomed by terrorists, killer disease stories)
3 To give their reader a sense of moral indignation (benefit cheats, truck drivers, asylum seeker stories)

The Daily Mail also has 3 main story types.
1 To scare their readers, (We’re all doomed by terrorists, killer disease cause house prices to drop stories, )
2 To give their reader a sense of moral indignation (benefit cheats, truck drivers, asylum seekers cause house prices to drop stories, )
3 Anything where they can get Diana shoehorned into the story, (House prices rise in Lady Diana childhood village stories)

the only crime here is reading the sun. horrible newspaper

NOPE sorry joe sharpe in wrong, emergency vehicles wont under normal circumstances undertake, he was in lane 2 yes lane 2 to long , if your kids was in there dying maybe answers would be different. keep an eye on your mirrors and stereo to a decent level. no exscuse period. how come a car had time to undertake an pop back into lane 2.

Absolute ■■■■■■■■. Everyone knows ambulance drivers are the worst of all emergency response anyway (seriously I could drive a much bigger vehicle faster than some of these ambulance drivers), I’d have done exactly what the Mercedes did. Weng it down the inside.

fast isnt always safest

Isn’t it obvious? They’re all agency!

What’s with the American & English - double full stop■■? Could easily have just used capital letters

So do I. There is/was a point that the lorry licence holder realised that he was in the wrong place and immediately moved to the left. If at the point of the Merc doing the undertake then lorry saw blue lights he would have moved over straight away and wiped out the Merc.

It was obvious he was not aware of his surroundings or he wouldn’t be in that lane anyway!

Blue lights or no blue lights I’d have just kept left, simples…
