I know It’s hard out there especially In my area ie: the building and plant… and I’m prepared to get my hands dirty Unfortunately when I have had to work for these agencies particulary one in Droitwich I found the staff and the drivers very unhelpful.
At a certain RDC It was a case or '---- 'you I’m inboard jack …The tales I heard at the TM’S office was very petty reporting drivers for leaving the yard with a trailer side light out and crumbs of food in the cab we don’t help ourselves do we■■?

I know agencies are a disgrace but it don’t help if everyone is telling tales on everyone and before you talk of new units and cookers learn a few gearboxes … Me I blame the hgv instructors they ALL SAY THE SAME

Hmmm… Well, I’ve never said that so that’s one that’s not the same 
yep agencies have ruined it, all advertising what is not available just to get you in and on the books to call you at last minute with a crap job that nobody else wants to do, it is about time that something is done about the way they operate, im trying to find a decent fulltime job in my area or even a little beyond but every advert is with an agency, ive registered with 9 and this coming week no work and had very little lately and the country is slowing down but why are they still allowed to advertise jobs that are not there, the goverment and jobcentre plus should step in and review it, when you search for jobs as a driver it looks like there are hundreds available but it is all agency non existent job ads, im sick of it.

forget the agencies, its getting to near xmas now. even if your busy for the next 10 weeks after that you will have nothing till may’ish and the golden boys (like quinny) will get all the work. you have to be well in with the agency before summer to be kept with anything after xmas.
