I’ve been browsing the job sites, sent my CV off to a couple through the .GOV website but nothing major. I’m not in any rush yet (waiting to do my C+E before I leave my current employment). Apart from the directgov site and Gumtree (bit sceptical about that one), is there anywhere else I can look? On a side note there’s a Norbert Distribution at the end of my road, I see loads of artics but hardly any rigids, I don’t know whether its worth me going down there and popping my CV in or wait 'till I get my CE?

Take what you can get mate, it’s all relevant, get in there, get stuck in and show them you are keen. 
Norberts do have Rigids but not sure if they are located at every depot.
Try the job boards. Indeed.co.uk is a good one.
Try any hauliers local to you. Keep pestering the ones that look alright. One of them should give you a go.

I have seen a rigid a few times but nothing compared to the bulk of artics that come and go. As much as I would like nothing more than to get driving I wanted to get my CE before I started to get looking properly, but if an opportunity should arise then I’ll go for it.
