Just finished my last shift on the floor this morning. Last night on my 00:00 break, (with a green light from our manager) got taken out by our TM on an assessment drive in a 12T auto.
All went well and as promised b4 I passed cpc, am staring my new career on Sunday night. So excited and can’t wait.
Got told b4 that I will start off in a 7.5T but after last night’s assessment results, they were more than impressed and told me that there is no more need to start off in a smaller lorry since I have passed my exam in a bigger 1. They are satisfied I will be fine to go on the run with whichever lorry is intended for that run.
4 days training (with some1 next to me) from Sunday, then am off in the wild!!!

Congrats! Bet you can’t wait, I know I can’t! I’m same position, I start on Tuesday as concrete mixer driver, although my training is a lot longer though but I can’t wait to start!!

Congrats on your job too mate. It is a good feeling! The fact that I will no more be on the busy floor, has made me giggle 
Just need to tail lift my pallets/ collors drive, unload them and back to depo for more. About 3 runs a night

I will do a diary sort of too. But might be under a different alias as am planning to change my user I’D but am not sure if am allowed to change user ID’S on here
