That’s quite a noble statement - although it may test your ‘flexibility’ after a couple of reduced rests & 15 hour shifts
I’ve just taken a bit of pay hit for what I’m sensing will be tad longer hours but am now only ten minutes & four miles rather than 35 minutes & 20 miles away
Flogging each way to work & home becomes as much of a chore in what could be “Quality Time” - and then there’s the ‘snowy season’ approaching

I know what you mean, I’ve done it before and it’s exhausting. But unfortunately day work around here tends to be scarce so it’s best to be willing to travel.
