Job dilema

Right, well I’ve been asked for interviews to two jobs…

one of them really good money in a factory, on a car assembly line, working week to week contracts for a year before a permanent contract is offered… but the money is really really good, and if I get the contract, the benefits are excellent, however its over half an hour drive from where I live, but the money will make up for it, also holiday time off will only be when the plant shuts down.

second job is class 2 driving for a local transport authority, really good benefits, wage starting around the 18-19k mark with loads of chances to have education paid for and good time off work (4 on 4 off), and its near enough on my doorstep so petrol costs will be next to nothing, and I can take holidays as and when I choose with minimal notice, and I will be on a permanent contract after 3 months.

I will have a much better life than I’ve got now with either job I take (assuming I get offered them) but I’m still unsure of which one to be the first choice… Ideas?

I imagine you’re on this Newbie forum because you’ve not long obtained your license so if I was you then I’d definitely go for both interviews and see what you’re offered, if you get offered both then I’d take the Driving job.
