Anyone had any odd questions to answer when applying for jobs?
I’ve just applied online to a plant hire company, and when it asks for dates (start/finish employment etc), you have to click back through a calendar rather than typing the date. No click and hold, you must click and release. I had to go back to February '99!

Application form for local pallet firm was six pages long!
What I can’t understand is this - folks from say " over the water" , how does this work? How can anybody check for law breaking or a bad driving record or don’t some employers be as strict as this?
Always been a mystified on this one!
Some ask for Service numbers now if you have been in the forces! 
The application form for our place is 4 pages long plus a 6 page medical declaration form…that’s just to get an interview!!
