OK I’ll put it simply. It’s wrong to fancy underage girls/boys if that’s your bag. You need locking up if you do.
It’s one of those issues where legality and morality do not co-incide exactly. The Age of Consent is 15 in France, 14 in Germany and 13 in Spain, although in Tunisia it is 20.
Who can say that any of these ages, or indeed the age of 16 is the “right” one?
I’ll stick to the principal of UK law, being as I’m a UK citizen.
I think 16 is about right. It it is a grey area IMO a 16 year old who has ■■■ with a15 year old is breaking they law but to say that is no way different to a 50 year old man doing it is wrong in my veiw. No doubt the king of the leatherhead gritter drivers will disagree and tell be I’ve been brainwashed by Margaret thatcher and the EU but sometimes the law is an ■■■ but we must have them.
Well, in fact nobody of any of these ages would be of interest to me anyway, Justin Bieber not being an interest of mine and Renault Magnums no doubt not being an interest of theirs, I can’t really see any common ground.
It is a moral conundrum though. The teacher who recently ran away with the 15 year old girl did not, as I see it, commit a criminal offence if he slept with her in France although he would have done in the UK…
I was out doing a driving job that involved sharing the cab with a young lady of 21 years. We got along fine but had nothing at all in common .I had never heard of the t.v. people that she knew .She had never heard of Jimmy Shand or Andy Stewart.When the cash had to be sorted she had a calculator in her phone ,I said it was a ready reckoner in my day,she didnt know what that was.I dont see how an age gap of more than 30 years can possibly work.
It’s said that the minimum age for a girlfriend is “half your age plus seven years” and that does seem to work across the spectrum.

I think we’re all aware of your views but the fact is no one who’s legally in a legal relationship which the age police on here don’t approve of needs to give a flying zb what you think.Because the clue is in the word legal.As I’ve said if you want to change that then you’re going to have to drag blokes like Joe Philpot away from their wives and families and lock them up for what they’ve done.Although it’s a bit unfair that I’m going to probably end up with them just or thinking about the idea of looking for a wife of the same age as theirs’ were when they started dating them.As an otion.

Who cares when there are obviously women out there who couldn’t care less about letting a few different interests and the age thing stand in the way of a decent relationship.You’re setting yourself up as judge jury and executioner in deciding who can date who and who can marry who rather than leaving that decision to those invloved in a relationship that just involves two not you or any other of the age police tossers out there.
Although having said that I’d still have some (very) serious doubts about any bloke of my own age let alone one younger who told me that he would’nt be interested in dating a bird of 19 if he was single.Hopefully that should give you enough of a clue as to where I stand considering that I’d be grateful for not having the competition when I ask her out.

Read what I’ve said.25 would be ok,19 would be great and under that would be an impossible dream.BUT.If Megan Stammers ever does send me that line saying that she’s read all my posts,taking into account the marriage between Joe and Nicola Philpot,and the way I got stitched up through life,and therefore she’s changed her mind about going for Jeremy Forrest and wants a date with me instead,then I’d be prepared to face down the age police taliban nutters on here.
