i heard last night that Jim Burden from Wimborne had passed away after quite a long spell of illness, I met jim back in the seventies when we both worked as owner drivers for local firms like Cutlers of Poole, Marley tiles etc, a very helpful gentleman, as is the whole family as I later worked with one of his brothers in the 90s, Mark his son is carrying on the transport tradition with his own vehicles whom we see regularly at the local RHA meetings, a sad loss.
