Thanks for the youtube link Carl, I’ve been looking for years for the recording of Eastbound and Down with the CB lingo at the beginning of it, the copy I have is from the Wally Whyton Country radio show, early 90s vintage I think, and it’s getting a bit worse for wear. Didn’t realise it was from the soundtrack. Yeh, I know!
Incidentally, Jerry Reed wasn’t just a fine actor, he was a renowned guitarist and songwriter too, he received a Grammy for Best Male Country Performance in 1972 singing, coincidentally," When You’re Hot, You’re Hot,"
