Sorry if this has already been up but I just found out that legendary star and musicianJerry Reed has passed away. Jerry was most famous for playing “The Snowman” in smokey and the bandit.
I really idolised him in these films when i was a kid, and he’s the reason im driving today i suppose. Later I got into his music aswell and found out just how great a guitarist he was. Im sure a lot of people on here will hold him in high regard aswell. RIP Jerry.
must admit, since the age of about 10 and seeing smokey and the bandit and watchin that guy has swayed me into this game, shame it never lived up to how it seemed in the film.
love his music, got loads of his on the lappy, its a shame but it happens unfortunately.
