Anyone else finding that January seems to be as busy as any other month? Being new to the game, alls I got told by every driver is don’t be expecting much work during January as it goes on its arse, but I seem to be getting just as much work as I have done the last few months
Don’t know. Haven’t started back aftet the hols yet.

Busy for me too, worked this week and booked for three days next week
Nope I have only done 1/2 a day this week, Luckily I am employed and paid anyway. But so far very quiet. I only have half a days work for Monday

The last 3 days has seen at least 15 vacancies each day posted on the JobCentre website for drivers within a 20ml radius of my postcode.
Mostly by agencies & mostly by 3x agencies in particular.
1 agency, who I know not to touch with a bargepole, posted 12x vacancies on new years day !
It must be BOOM times ahead

Agency ads never reflect reality, always remember that…!
As I understand it agencies like to have more drivers than work that way they don’t ever turn work away while its busy and then drop you like a sack of spuds when it’s quiet.
As for being busy I’m always busy…I work for 3663! 
Me and all the guys I Know on the agency have all worked everyday this week.

I’m on agency. Worked Monday, Wednesday and yesterday, could have worked today but needed it off, and I’m working tomorrow
Sooo! 3 days into the first working week of 2013, when 90% of the working population are still in holiday mode, we can deduce that choosing to work for an agency was a good choice !
All of us employed drivers must be feeling right mugs for not going agency back in 2012.
Let’s revisit the subject around Jan 21st. Let’s see who’s working & bringing home the bacon then shall we!
