In the past few months a fellow driver interviewed there and told me the hourly rate was a joke. I can’t quote the figure but it was low enough to well and truly strike them off any future consideration.

£10 an hour Monday to friday. £23 night out and prefer you to use snap. £10 meal allowance.
Trampers have a cab assigned and 18 plates and newer come with a microwave and fridge.
My personal experience was good with them, I’d go back but the commute on days is too costly!

My mate commutes to witney for them, says it’s long hours but he reckons hes on about 43k for the tramping.
Said the trucks are in good nick and have microwaves and fridges in.
Seems happy enough but getting a bit fed up of the commute every week.
With the figures previously stated he must be doing 72 hours a week and 5 nights out

Poverty spec motorsI’m sure I’ve even seen a low roof sleeper cab CF with a humongous air deflector to disguise it…
That’s bad if it’s a tramping motor, but what’s the problem or difference if it is just used for day or night trunking.
That will be a day/night drivers truck, especially with the double deck trailer on.

Did Kappa work years ago when it was MRS Distribution doing it.
Dead easy work.
Only thing to let it down was the way the trailers were loaded. Pallets for one drop buried under pallets for others or first drops being on the front
Happy days.

Don’t forget the 2yrs experience you NOW NEED for the privilege either which to me definitely proves they have a shortage, nothing spurious about it at all [emoji16]

“Be an early applicant” absolutely, you don’t wanna get left behind on this fantastic opportunity now do you?
Or alternatively “please hurry, we have 20 motors that are currently driverless and we’re desperate to get these pallets of tat out of the gate”.
It is Unreal money for class 1
they must want to go out of business…
