(Could. If you max out every week, and do 5 nights out every week)
"We don’t have a ‘££ per hour’ figure, because of all the available bonuses and allowances "
(The pay is crap, unless you run ragged)
“The basic doesn’t look much, but you get to drive a new DAF”

You’re completely right, personally wouldn’t work for a company that couldn’t say a simple £X per year or £X per hour with XYZ overtime whatevers.
A bit like sorting out whether it’s worth even going to see them.

What about the guy with the suit and a clip - board…he must know something ?

Blimey, that’s not good.
I’m getting the impression that Volvo are doing what Scania started doing about 10 years ago. Trade on past reputation, cut cost and quality, because people will buy regardless. But does Volvo have the fan boi following to pull that off?

A driver asks a simple question about a company’s pay structure and he gets 10 replies that are completely unrelated to his question.
Why is that, anyone knows?

It’s behind the B&Q warehouse, but if you’re trailer is over 15’3" you need to turn left at the roundabout.

People ask what wages a company pays assuming that either someone will tell them the truth or have the correct info.
Not always the case and a simple call should get the main info on wages, if you don’t like what they are saying there is little point going any further.
I could tell someone what the wages are at my place if they asked. But it does not mean that a new starter would be on the same contract or wages as me as people before me are on different hours contracts and wage structures etc.

Maybe because it was asked only a couple of weeks ago viewtopic.php?f=2&t=152020&hilit=Jack+richards

In these instances is after care service ok.? Do you run just one truck OD, or is it a company vehicle, I say this because if your truck is off the road do they give you a truck for free until yours is up and running , or do you not do the weeks run etc… I must admit them Volvo’s do look the business, but can’t beat a daf sorry.
From what I’ve heard the pay is peanuts unless you do a lot of hours.
If you just done 40 hours which is probably the same as the cleaners you would not doubt be on less money then the cleaners.

Each time its been diagnosed and fixed quite quickly, the only time i had to wait a few days was for the I Shift ECU. The service agent here is very good, company i sub for has had a dozen or so new FH4’s in the last three 3 months. If mine does happen to be off the road i just use one off the company fleet, they only ever charge me a nominal amount so back up is there if needed…

Ah, that’s excellent news … I do like the look of it … I am retiring from my job when I return I’m to old to patrol now (43)… so I might finally use my truck licence for some part time work.
My mate considered going there ( it is still on his list ) but he’s took a job ferrying eggs around out of skeggy area , 4 on 4 off and think it 9/10 p. H the extra £1 if he goes over 39 hrs , think it a £1 extra for w/ end shifts as well so he says .
Think the early starts will do for him though , then I can see it being kymes , but he doesn’t want night trunking as 6 finish sat morning and tramping is long hours and he’d rather fridge job / box as he’s 60 and to old for pulling back curtains , he’s alright but bloody hell he doesn’t have go through jobs
He’ll get to jack Richards at some point I’d of thought
