I got stuck for a short while, was moving slowly, then the wombles turned up and shut the S/B temporarily. (Not knocking them BTW they did a good job, lots of cars were trying to get by on the hard shoulder and it was a bit manic , soon as they arrived the job was sorted and in an orderly fashion.
Dont know what happened but the DAF from “wekankarryit” (dont know the firms name) had done a good job of plowing the central reservation.
There was definately a Corsa involved and possibly a plain white rigid truck (looked like a 18tonner)
A Tcab Scania with a bulk scrap-metal trailer had stopped in lane 3, but looked undamaged, possibly blocking the lane for protection?
No-one appeared to be trapped in the vehicles, ambulance in attendance and few people sat on armco or milling around, hopefully no-one too badly injured.
If it were actually from the firm ‘wekankarryit’, they are based in/around Wooton (Oxon)and are called John Werrel Transport and used to run a fleet of proper she-ite motors! If they are running Daf’s, seems like they have gone up in the world…just! Must admit though, thought they might have gone kaput by now.
