hi has anyone heard of a licence checking company called jaama based in tamworth
the people i work for what to start using them but i’m not sure i want my details going through this third party

Never heard of them but as it’s not necessary to use a company for this procedure, they’ll likely be trying to shaft you one way or another.
Normally to do a licence check they just get you to authorise them phoning the lovely folk at the DVLA…to make sure you have the ticket to drive…
thats what they have been doing in the past but now what to use this third party

Looks like the DVLA are trying to look up to date and modern…but looks like a third party external company with a profit to make to me… 
ive looked at there website and googled them just wondered if anyone had any experience of them as i know there was a simalar company a few years ago doing this but selling on data
Throw the Data Protection Act at them. Tell your employer you object to your details being shown to or handled by a third party.
