First of all thank you to allyou guys who have sent mails etc in to the council giving support to keeping this truckstop open.
the good news is that your letter have certainly made a difference.
I have just received this email from the owner.
Dear Wendy,
The campaign is going to plan. There has been no objection so far from anyone including the statutory authorities, highways ect.
Jill Shindler mentioned that because so much support came in it will now have to go to committee. She will write a report based on policy to advise the comitee and we have an opportunity to submit further information to councillors and to make a three minute speech in the council chambers.What would be good is if we could get a letter of support from any association eg the Freight transport ■■■, and another bodies, over certain figures like how many toilets there are and how often drivers have to take break on M25. Do you know anyone in high places who could write a sympathetic letter of suport on a fancy associations letter head?

So at long last it looks like we truckers have used our voices and been heard.
So if any of you have anything to offer on the tiolet facilities on the M25 or any other relevant points please get scribbling and make the council sit up and listen further.
