Just seen the advert in an old paper, anybody work for them? Always well turned out and seem to have a lot of motors.

I`ve always seen them to and froing from Europe, green outfits, thats all i know.

I’ve worked for one of their competitors and I’d say they are a fairly decent firm.

The work’s a piece of cake, usually one drop on artics, multi drop on W&D with a crane running out of Torr Works or S Morris on blocks, going into building sites and builder’s merchants.

You start driving a unit’s that’s a bit of a nail then if you don’t bent it they put you on something decent. I’d give them a ring if I was looking.

Cheers for that. Over sixty motors somebody told me, bigger outfit than I thought!

They’ve a few motors certainly. One old Foden springs to mind that they use to shunt between Tor and their yard opposite, I’d drive that for free (alright not for very long but I would)

They’re our West Country rivals in the brick and block business, got a lot of trucks, Fodens, Scanias and Volvo, top spec with decent power engines. Run mostly out of Aggregates at Tor Works or S Morris and backload from various places across the country.

If your on days you get an older truck and local runs if your a tramper you’ll get one of the later Scanias or if your lucky one of their new Globetrotter Volvos and they run all over the place. A decent enough outfit to work for, if I ever moved down that way I’d be asking for a job there.
